Who Am I?

“Photography is a magical kind of art that allows people to preserve time and moments, and to describe the world the way they see it.”
- Sahara Sanders

My personal journey

I started taking photography seriously, in December of 2021. That’s when I purchased my first crop-sensor DSLR, ready to get into What-I-Thought as photography. I always had the passion, but cheap to middle-range smartphones cannot compare to the combination of a DSLR, a professional editing software and their capabilities. Quickly, my life was all about reading photography articles, spending hours watching my favourite youtube “teachers”, taking trips to use my new toy and editing my captures. Just a few months later, I was starting making my first money of it, as a wedding/christening photographer. In the following years, I kept learning, practising and working in the field, combining a hobby with a career. They seem to blend well, and I can see myself following this pattern for many years to come. Follow me!

As my main occupation, I work in the IT Support field, utilizing my knowledge to help other people and companies overcome their setbacks, optimize their IT infrastructure and expand their boundaries.

My mission

In the end, it’s all about memories.

While I am walking down the road of life, my personal goal is to capture all these moments, all these places, all these experiences, that life throws at me. And capture these moments in a way that, as I grow older, me and my loved ones can look at and re-live! To let the pictures tell the story in a way that my words might never be able to describe precisely.

My background

I am a simple man.

I see something that I find beautiful, extraordinary, peculiar or just different: I capture it!
I am mostly self-taught in Photography, constantly learning and expanding my possibilities, exercising the trial-and-error technique and exploring the well-hidden secrets of this art, in the making.

My experiences

The only way to achieve this goal, is to never miss a chance.

Either it is a family gathering, a night at a friend’s house, a walk in the park, a trip to an other country, a visit to the local museum, a paid wedding job, whatever! My camera bag is never left at home.
This is the only way to be there, at the right time, in the right place, with the right gear, armed and ready to keep the moment alive for ever.

My core values

Of course, there are some values that need not be overlooked:
